ZTB 93047 F ABLO Trombone
My name is Christopher Key, I am a Detroit native and Jazz/Freelance Trombonist. I am also a United States Marine Corps Musician/Composer. I have been touring and playing professionally since sophomore year in high school. I am emailing you to let you know I am more than pleased with this instrument!
I have owned a ZTB 93047 F ABLO trombone for just over 2 years now, and I could not be happier with the product. I saw a friend of mine playing it on a gig we had together. I fell in love with the sound that came out of the instrument. So delicate, yet edgy when you need it to be. After much negotiation he finally allowed me to play it. I fell in love with it when I held it. It just lays perfectly in the hand. and when you raise it up there is no strain whatsoever on the left bicep. I played a couple tunes on it and loved everynote and idea that came out of it. It lets me play what I hear without fighting me whatsoever. This horn is so diverse I can play with my quintet one night and the next morning be able to play with my Marine Corps base band.
I highly recommend it to any students/peers of mine without hesitation. It is one of the most gorgeous instruments I have ever seen. I have played it side to side with a Shires small bore Jazz horn, and I couldn't get into what I wanted with the Shires. I am happy to say that this horn is my lifetime partner.
